48th Annual Destrehan Plantation Fall Event

Join us Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th 2020 from 9 am to 4 pm on the grounds of Destrehan Plantation for live entertainment, cajun and creole food, arts & crafts vendors, antique dealers, and children's activities. COVID-19 Protocol - Mask are required at all gates, in the food court lines, and inside all buildings. There is a limit of 10 people on tour (this includes the guide). All vendors are required to wear a mask and have hand sanitizer at their tents. Hand santizer stations will be available and placed sporatically on the grounds. Read More »

Dear Destrehan Plantation Fall Festival Vendors,   I hope all of you are well and staying safe during this difficult time. Thank you for your continued support and participation in our annual fall festival. You are the reason our festival has been so successful for the past 48 years.    As of now, we are still planning to hold the annual fall festival on November 14th & 15th of 2020.    If we cannot have the festival due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are planning a reschedule date of February 27 & 28, 2021.    We will make a final decision around September 15, 2020, and will send you an email.   If we have to reschedule, and you have already paid your 2020 booth fee, we will apply the fee towards the rescheduled date in February 2021.   If you have already paid your booth fee, and cannot participate on the rescheduled dates… Read More »

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the travel and tourism industry. We need your help.  Help support the River Road Historical Society and their mission to preserve history and provide education on Destrehan Plantation. All proceeds from fundraisers go to the restoration and preservation of Destrehan Plantation and its dependency buildings.​​ We are providing lunch and dinner available for pick up Friday, August 14th 2020 at the Mule Barn located on 13034 River Road in Destrehan, Louisiana. The menu consists of jambalaya, white beans, catfish and garlic bread. Extras include peach cobbler dessert and bottled drinks at an additional cost. Lunch or dinner pre-ordered and paid by credit card is $9:00 per person, plus applicable fees. Payment day of the event is $10.00 per person.
