The River Road (Hwy. 48) will be closed east of us by the Bunge North America Grain Refinery from Saturday, May 21, 2016, starting at 6:00 a.m. until Sunday, May 22, 2016, 6:00 p.m. Those of you coming from New Orleans should take I-10 West to I-310 South (Boutte) and take exit 6 to Destrehan and make a left on River Road (Hwy. 48). If you take exit 2, get off on the Norco exit (right), go down Airline Hwy (Hwy 61) headed west, until you reach Ormond Blvd. Go all the way down Ormond Blvd. until you reach the River Road (Hwy. 48) make a left on River Road and drive about 1 mile. The Plantation Store will be to your left.
